AHA Verified Rooms
The AHA program is Tavrn’s official room verification system. It’s how we highlight quality communities and make them easier to discover. What is AHA Verification?
An AHA Verified room has been reviewed by the Tavrn team and meets certain standards for quality, activity, and community health. Verified rooms receive:- A ✅ AHA badge displayed on the room profile
- Boosted visibility in room discovery
- Recognition as an established, trusted community
Why “AHA”?
It’s Tavrn’s way of saying “this is a legitimate, well-run community worth finding.” The name captures that moment of discovery, the “AHA! I found my people!” feeling. How to Get Your Room Verified
Check the eligibility requirements
Your room should generally:
- Have been active for a reasonable period (not brand new)
- Have a consistent community (not just a few messages total)
- Have clear rules and moderation in place
- Not violate Tavrn’s Community Standards
- Have a complete room profile (name, icon, description)
Fill out the application
You’ll be asked about:
- What your room is about
- Why it deserves AHA verification
- Any context about your community or prior history
What the Tavrn Team Looks For
There’s no precise scoring rubric, but these are the things that matter most:Active Community
Regular, genuine conversation, not a bunch of spam or ghost-town channels.
Good Moderation
Reasonable rules, active moderation, a team that takes the community health seriously.
Clear Purpose
The room has a clear focus or identity. Members know what it’s for.
Community Standards
No violations of Tavrn’s Community Standards, no hateful content, harassment, etc.
How Long Does the Review Take?
Reviews typically take a few days to a week, depending on the volume of applications. You’ll receive a notification either way, approval or rejection. If Your Application is Rejected
Don’t panic. Rejection doesn’t mean your room is bad, it just might not meet the criteria yet. Common reasons for rejection:- Room is too new (not enough activity history)
- Rules or moderation aren’t clearly established
- Room description or profile isn’t complete
- Previous content violations (even minor ones)
What Verification Doesn’t Mean
AHA verification is a quality signal, not a moral endorsement. Being verified means a room met baseline quality standards at time of review, it doesn’t mean every conversation in it is Tavrn-approved or that the community can’t have issues. Verified rooms are still subject to Tavrn’s Community Standards and can lose their verification if they fall short.Maintaining Verification
Keep your community healthy and in line with Community Standards, and you’ll be fine. If a verified room becomes a hotbed of rule violations or goes inactive, Tavrn reserves the right to remove the AHA badge. As a Member: What Verified Rooms Mean for You
When you’re browsing room discovery:- Look for the ✅ AHA badge as a quality signal
- Verified rooms are more likely to have consistent activity
- That said, great small communities exist that aren’t verified! Don’t skip an invite just because it lacks a badge.
