If you’ve tried Cocoa and love it, the yearly plan pays for itself, you’re saving almost twenty dollars a year just by committing to an annual billing cycle.

What’s Included in Both Plans

Both plans include exactly the same perks, the only difference is the billing cycle and price. You’re not getting a “lite” version on monthly.

Payment & Billing

Tavrn uses Stripe for payment processing, the same secure payment infrastructure used by millions of businesses worldwide. Accepted payment methods:
  • Credit / debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover)
  • Other methods may be available depending on your region
Your payment info is handled entirely by Stripe and is never stored directly by Tavrn.

When Billing Happens

  • Monthly: Charged on the same date each month from when you subscribed
  • Yearly: Charged once, then again one year later (unless you cancel before renewal)
You’ll receive an email receipt after each billing event.

Upgrading from Monthly to Yearly

If you start on monthly and want to switch to yearly:
  1. Go to Settings → Cocoa
  2. Look for the option to change your billing cycle
  3. You’ll be prorated, credited for the remaining time on your monthly plan before the yearly charge kicks in

Canceling

You can cancel your Cocoa subscription at any time:
  1. Settings → Cocoa → Cancel Subscription
  2. Confirm cancellation
You keep your Cocoa perks until the end of the current billing period, you’re not cut off mid-month or mid-year.
Canceling means your subscription won’t renew. It doesn’t issue a refund for time already paid. If you cancel a yearly plan with 6 months remaining, you keep the perks for those 6 months.

Frequently Asked Questions

If a payment fails, Tavrn will attempt to retry it. You’ll receive an email notification. Your subscription may enter a “past due” state, your perks will remain active during the retry window. If payment continues to fail, the subscription will eventually lapse and perks will deactivate.
Tax handling varies by location. In regions where applicable, taxes will be added at checkout and shown clearly before you confirm.
Tavrn reviews refund requests on a case-by-case basis. For genuine billing errors, reach out to support.
