Your Tavrn Profile URL

Every Tavrn user has a profile URL based on their username. It’s the simplest way to point someone directly to your profile.

Your Profile URL

Your profile URL looks like:
tavrn.app/profile/yourusername
Just replace yourusername with your actual Tavrn @username. Anyone who visits that link lands on your profile page, where they can add you as a friend or send you a message (depending on your privacy settings).

How to Share It

The most common ways people share their Tavrn profile link:
  • In your social media bio, Drop it in your Twitter, Instagram, or Linktree
  • In a stream overlay or Twitch/YouTube about section, Let viewers easily find you on Tavrn
  • In an email signature or business card, Useful for creators and community builders
  • In another Tavrn room, When someone asks for your handle, you can just drop the link

Finding Your Exact Username

Your @username is shown:
  • In your profile settings (Settings → My Account)
  • Under your display name on your own profile card
  • At the top of the Friends list next to your avatar

Username vs. Display Name

Your URL is based on your username (@handle), not your display name. These can be different:
ExampleUsed in URL?
Username@margaux_builds✅ Yes
Display NameMargaux ☕ building things❌ No
If you change your username, your profile URL changes too. Old links to your previous username won’t work.
Sharing your profile URL doesn’t bypass your privacy settings. If your profile visibility is set to Friends Only or Private, people who visit your link will see a limited view, just your name and avatar, not your full profile details.
To control what’s visible on your profile, see Profile Visibility.

Two-Factor Authentication QR Code

Separately, Tavrn uses QR codes in the Security & 2FA settings for setting up your authenticator app. This is unrelated to your profile, it’s just the QR code you scan when enrolling your TOTP authenticator. Setting up 2FA →
